Ordering Instructions

Online ordering is easy and secure from

Etches in Stone

Browse our photo-gallery and choose from Marble, Granite, Roof Slate, Beveled Glass Ornaments and Dog Tags.

Purchase your item through PayPal or Credit Card.

We gladly accept checks, money orders,

MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.

On credit card transactions we require the Security Code

and the credit card billing address.

If purchasing by check please make checks payable to:

Once you have paid for your item, email your picture(s) along with instructions to: etchesinstone@gmail.com.com

We can cut your picture, crop it,remove the background or any distracting elements or, we'll just leave it alone, so be sure to give us

any specific instructions when emailing or mailing your photo(s)

Include any text you would like

engraved along with any specific instructions.

Include a daytime phone number and your e-mail address,

in case we have questions about your order or payment information.

If ordering a marble or granite plaque, select the orientation of the object: Portrait or Landscape.

WHAT TYPE OF IMAGES ARE BEST FOR ENGRAVING?

When possible please select photos that clearly show the person or object you would like engraved. The better the original photo the better your finished piece will be. If you are sending a digital image please use a 2 megapixel or better camera. The largest setting for JPG files should be used. For best results please do NOT send photos printed on a home printer. Email us the digital image instead.

A photo developed or printed at a store is fine.

If scanning a photo, please scan between 250 - 300 DPI. The quality of the engraving is tied directly to the quality of the image presented. Higher detail and better contrast produce better engravings. In terms of size, larger images work best. Please do not resize picture before emailing. File types we recommend are:

JPG, JPEG, TIFF, and BMP.

WHAT IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?

We can ship selected orders if available from stock within two business days or if you're local, we can complete the job the same day. Just contact us to make an appointment. (978) 250-0601.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF I ORDER MORE THAN ONE OF THE SAME IMAGE?

YES!! If you plan to purchase more than one personalized marble, granite, roof slate, or glass ornament of the exact same type and/or text, we offer a 25% discount for the second item and beyond. (does not apply to any items on sale).

If ordering more than one of the same image, please do not purchase thru pay pal. Contact us by email or telephone, and we will calculate your order and shipping charge. If interested in larger quantities, please contact us for a quote.

WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN ONE PICTURE ON A PLAQUE?

Yes, we have designed & engraved many plaques with multiple photos. Please contact us for more information.

ARE GIFT CERTIFICATES AVAILABLE?

Yes, we can make a Certificate in any amount needed.
